Google I/O 2010 – Testing techniques for Google App Engine with notes

Google I/O 2010 – Testing techniques for Google App Engine

Argues for testing. I don’t have to be convinced. I believe in testing.
Some mentioned testing tools: guiceberry, googletest, googlemock, threadweaver.
Web site: googletesting.blogspot.com

Discusses how to test appengine locally.
Mentioned: jUnit, pyUnit, Selenium

NOTE: TESTING DISCUSSION DEALS WITH JAVA ONLY, NOT PYTHON!!!!!

I installed python-unittest2 to take a look at it.

However, some interesting Java. Got me thinking about how to setup for Python testing.

Note: CloudCover is a test tool running on the Google App Engine platform – JAVA only.
Look at Jatori for test running (java).

Recommended in the presentation: http://code.google.com/p/google-collections/.
